Everyone is welcome to join USGF. We have two types of memberships: voting and associate non-voting. All members (both voting and non-voting) receive a copy of the Quarterly and a copy of the USGF calendar each time they are published. Please read the following qualifications for both types of memberships and when you decide which membership suits you best, click the above "Join & Renew USGF" button and fill out a membership request form. At the bottom of the form you will be asked if you are seeking a voting or non-voting associate membership.

1. USGF Voting Membership Qualifications
Voting members are usually breeders and exhibitors and must meet the following qualifications:
1. Have CFA registered cattery OR have been a current USGF member for two (2) consecutive years (status changed to voting member on the second consecutive year).
2. Currently own or have bred a Silver and/or Golden Persian or Exotic cat.
3. Be in good standing with CFA.
4. Be at least 18 years of age as of January first of the application/renewal membership year.
5. Provide a copy of current CFA cattery registration or a CFA or statement certifying a current two year consecutive USGF membership, and the name and registration number of a Silver or Golden Persian or Exotic currently bred or owned by applicant.

2. USGF Non-voting Associate Membership Qualifications
Non-voting Associate members are usually pet owners.
Anyone can be a join USGF and become a non-voting member. In fact, we encourage pet owners to join! Non-voting associate members don't have to even own a cat; they can simply have an interest in Silver and Golden Persians and Exotics.
USGF non-voting Associate memberships are for individuals who:
1. Do not meet the voting membership qualifications.
2. Have not provided the necessary information or documentation to qualify for voting membership.
3. Are Junior Members: younger than 18 years of age as of January 1 of membership year and who have an interest in Silver and/or Golden Persian or Exotic cats.
